The North Clackamas School District has begun laying off up to 14 classified FTE.
The District must follow the provisions of Article 5 of our collective bargaining agreement when they layoff and bump classified employees.
A written layoff notice must be presented to a classified employee no-less two weeks before the effective date of layoff.
The leadership of OSEA Chapter 71 wants to discuss the consequences of every layoff notice presented to a classified employee by the District.

After a few turns, AFT president Randi Weingarten reached in and selected a handful at random, and Duncan took the stage to provide some answers.
