Welcome Back
Hello fellow classified members, It is my honor and privilege as your new OSEA Chapter 71 President to welcome you back to the 2009-2010 school year at North Clackamas School District. It has been a hard but productive summer serving as your president but I feel that your Executive Board, which includes myself, Patrick Morgan as your new Vice President, Celest Fitzpatrick as your Secretary, Mary Kay Stupfel as your treasurer and Jay Osborne as your past executive officer, and the Negotiations Team have worked very diligently to retain as many of our staff and positions as possible during these extremely tough economic times. I look forward to serving each of you this year and getting an opportunity to meet as many of you as possible. I had my first opportunity during the tentative agreement information meeting and ratification vote. I hope that you will attend to the first chapter meeting on Tuesday, September 15th at 5 pm in the commons of the Sabin-Schellenberg South Campus building. We will be giving an update on how the district is doing and how it affects Chapter 71. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible there. One of my major goals this year is to visit all the sites of our chapter and meet our members. Without the support and help of all members we cannot continue to be strong and grow. Be sure to visit the OSEA Chapter 71 website (www.OSEA71.org) for new updates on what's new and what's happening regularly. Enjoy these final days of summer and I look forward to seeing each of you soon. Sincerely, Pam Pamela E. Briece, |
